Book NowAbout Warung Makan Dwijayanti
Perched high over the Sidemen valley, Warung Makan Dwijayanti delivers unapologetic Balinese home cooking against panoramic rice terraces. Ayu and her family run the open-air deck with easy generosity—swapping tofu into a pescatarian nasi campur or lingering over post-dinner conversation. Travelers weary of muted tourist fare head here for scratch-made staples that never cut corners. Ayu hand-grates fresh coconut instead of leaning on commercial powders and mixes lawar à la minute with fragrant coconut oil. Generous plates arrive alongside crushed-by-hand peanut sauce and fresh mango juice, finishing with seasonal fruit sliced straight from the kitchen.

I asked Ayu (the owner and cook) if she could add tuna and tempeh to my Nasi Campur instead of chicken because I’m a pescatarian and she did.

Nasi Campur Bali
On the second day we had the Nasi Campur Bali and the Cap Cay (which you can see on the photo). So when we were there the second time, they had tuna so I asked Ayu (the owner and cook) if she could add tuna and tempeh to my Nasi Campur instead of chicken because I’m a pescatarian and she did. She even offered to add Tofu which I gladly accepted. The tuna did not disappoint at all. Like, it was SO good. Definitely recommend.
Sean Lipicar Grilled Chicken Sambal Matah
The food is so tasty, the sambal matah is perfect. They use coconut oil on it.. The lawar on grilled chicken is freshly mixed / a'la minute..
Om Juju Veggie Curry
The veggie curry with tempeh and tofu was perfect, and I’m not eating rice at the moment and asked for more vegetables instead and they happily accommodated me.
Mina Pak Gado-gado
Gado-gado in the photo, a little different from traditional - there's broccoli in it, and the sambal on the side is made with coconut oil. Yum!
