Set right over the water in West Bali National Park, Pantai Restaurant offers serene open-air dining flanked by mangroves and wild deer wandering the shore. Getting here means leaving private cars behind and boarding open-air safari shuttles along forest tracks. Travelers crossing the island use the seaside deck to decompress over beef rendang, fresh grilled fish, and cocktails beneath views of Mount Baluran. At dusk, oil candles flicker against the incoming tide while jumping fish break the surface around the wooden pier.
