Set right over the water in West Bali National Park, Pantai Restaurant offers serene open-air dining flanked by mangroves and wild deer wandering the shore. Getting here means leaving private cars behind and boarding open-air safari shuttles along forest tracks. Travelers crossing the island use the seaside deck to decompress over beef rendang, fresh grilled fish, and cocktails beneath views of Mount Baluran. At dusk, oil candles flicker against the incoming tide while jumping fish break the surface around the wooden pier.

How do you get to the restaurant from the main road?

Private vehicles are not permitted to drive directly to the restaurant terrace. Visitors switch to the resort's open safari-style cart or shuttle service to travel down the unpaved nature trail through the reserve. Advance reservations are accepted and recommended given the limited seating and shuttle arrangement.

Can you see wildlife while dining?

Yes. Because the restaurant is set inside a protected nature reserve, wild deer, monkeys, and coastal marine life frequently wander directly along the shore and trees beside the dining deck.

Can non-staying restaurant guests use the swimming pool?
