Tucked deep into Ubud’s rice paddies, this open-air hideaway pairs prime steaks with tableside polish and secluded serenity. Cars cannot fit down the narrow path—staff coordinate a private scooter pickup from town instead. Tableside, servers present photos of meat cuts and invite you to choose your steak knife before the Wagyu ribeye hits the grill. Diners frequently mention the rich lobster bisque poured right at the table and the option of a multi-course Indonesian Chef’s Table featuring regional specialties like Maluku lobster with colo colo sambal.

    The staff also took the time to explain the different knives and recommend the perfect one for my steak, which made the experience feel incredibly personalized and elevated.
