Perched above Penestanan on a pedestrian ridge, this open-air refuge trades road traffic for views of Mount Agung and wholesome organic cooking. Ditch the scooter at the base of the stairs—the climb weeds out the crowds. Regulars settle in after morning yoga for cold brew or 7th Heaven iced coffee, working through gluten-free crêpes, rice bowls with pineapple-flecked nasi goreng, and crisp vegetable dosas. Come Sunday evening, the kitchen turns out a communal Balinese banquet loaded with traditional vegetable curries and sambal.
