About Warung LAH PASIH

Along the quiet coastline of Tianyar, this family-run open-air diner pairs fresh North Bali seafood with home-style Indonesian cooking. Chef-owner Wayan sources catch directly from neighborhood fishermen, seasoning grilled fish with fragrant sambal matah and pressing her own coconut oil on-site. Travelers heading between Candidasa and Lovina pull off the road for bowls of red snapper head soup, wok-tossed kwetiau, and crisp spring rolls served in the shaded garden. Wayan often welcomes guests like relatives—offering morning market trips in Amlapura or traditional Balinese cooking classes right by the kitchen.

  • Host-led cultural experiences: Chef-owner Wayan takes guests on early morning trips to the Amlapura food market and hosts hands-on cooking classes.
  • Daily coastal seafood: Catches supplied by local fishermen are grilled fresh and served with scratch-made sambal matah or simmered into red snapper soup.
  • Scratch-made family recipes: Dishes are prepared using home-pressed coconut oil and market-sourced ingredients in a breezy garden setting.
