Serving Tabanan since 1940, Kedai M. Aboe Talib pours traditional cloth-filtered coffee in a sliver of a storefront barely two meters wide. Third-generation brewers pull robust kopi saring and kopi susu alongside sweet, condensed-milk glasses. Patrons pack the narrow bench stairs or spill onto shop verandas past nightfall to swap stories over plates of 1,000-rupiah jajan pasar and warm banana fritters.
