Plan your visitAbout Rooster bar
Right on bustling Jalan Mataram sits an unpretentious drop-in joint built for an easy nongkrong session. Skip the mega-clubs. Regulars swear it pours the coldest beer on the island—frosty Bintangs served cheap with zero fuss. Inside, an open pool table keeps things moving while televised sports buzz in the background. Expat regulars and travelers swap banter at the counter, or order comforting plates of bangers and mash and burgers straight from next-door Jepun Cafe.
- Ice-Cold & Affordable: Patrons cite sub-zero, ice-cold Bintangs and wallet-friendly prices as the main draw.
- Pub Games & Banter: A laid-back scene with an open pool table, welcoming staff, and an attached tattoo studio.
- Hearty Pub Fare: Hearty comfort classics from neighboring Jepun Cafe, including bangers and mash and thick burgers.
