Dine directly on Lake Batur aboard floating bamboo pavilions gently swaying with the water against views of Mount Batur. It is a relaxed, scenic lunch stop in Kintamani where diners settle onto open-air platforms for the regional staple: freshly caught mujair nyat-nyat simmered in aromatic Balinese spices, or whole tilapia grilled over hot coals. Between bites of crispy banana fritters and sips of hot tea, visitors can rent a rod right off the dock to drop a line straight into the lake.
