About Canvas Cafe

Perched along the transit route to the harbor, Canvas Cafe is Sanur’s breezy retreat for cold-blast air conditioning and synchronized fusion brunch plates. Frequent island-hoppers treat it as their go-to staging post before fast boats depart for Nusa Lembongan. The kitchen plates vibrant bowls alongside Indonesian chicken curry, served briskly to the entire table in unison. Baristas pull smooth Indonesian V60 pours and whip up thick fruit smoothies while humming along to cafe playlists behind the counter. Low-key remote workers claim tables near power outlets, dipping crispy seaweed fries or picking through boutique jewelry cases beside the register.

  • Harbor transit stop: Just off the road to Bangsal Beach, offering an easy pitstop before or after fast boat crossings to the Nusa islands.
  • Laptop-friendly setup: Indoor tables feature dependable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and power outlets suitable for remote work.
  • Upbeat synchronized service: Friendly staff coordinate plates to arrive simultaneously, occasionally singing along to the cafe soundtrack.

Before you head over

Practical advice for remote work, parking, and settling in smoothly.

  • Request Wi-Fi credentials

Ask the team for login details upon arrival, as connecting to the network requires an explicit login code rather than an open broadcast.

  • Plan for harbor area parking

The street leading down to the harbor charges a small entry fee and spots fill up quickly on weekends, so arrive early if driving.

  • Head upstairs for quieter work

If you prefer a quiet environment for focused laptop work or meetings, head up to the second floor away from the lively counter singing downstairs.
