Tucked in the hills of Karangasem, Taru Agro offers a leafy plantation pause with over 15 sample pours of local coffees and herbal infusions. Guided walks take you through the bean-roasting process before introducing resident civets and flying fox bats. The real draw is the tasting flight up in the treehouse canopy—sip your way through hot spice teas and freshly brewed Luwak coffee while suspended over the greenery.

  • Sampling and Specialty Orders

    Take advantage of the included flight of over 15 coffee and herbal tea samples, and consider budgeting around 50k IDR extra if you want to try a freshly prepared cup of Luwak coffee.

  • Navigating the Gift Shop

    Be prepared for an on-site shop visit following your tasting; gift items and packaged teas can be pricey and may differ from fresh samples, so feel free to decline purchases if you prefer.

  • Parking and Arrival

    On-site parking is provided directly at the plantation, complete with an attendant on hand to help guide vehicles into and out of the lot.
