Bali’s first aquarium restaurant serves multi-course tasting menus wrapped in a glass tunnel beneath gliding stingrays and reef sharks. Deep inside the Apurva Kempinski—give yourself a good fifteen minutes to walk from the resort drop-off—the subaquatic dining room pairs aquatic spectacle with Balinese keramahtamahan. Expect attentive hospitality where staff switch out nut allergens without a hitch and bring off-menu ginger tea at the sound of a cough. The kitchen sends out six- to eight-course progressions featuring lobster over pearl couscous, cod, and wagyu, alongside diver greetings right through the glass.

Why Diners Choose Koral
Discover why diners choose Koral for unforgettable underwater fine dining and milestones in Bali.
Subaquatic Glass Tunnel Setting
Guests dine inside a subaquatic glass enclosure where marine life swims directly overhead, accompanied by friendly diver appearances throughout the meal.
Having the marine life swimming over your head makes it so special. The diver is a great touch too!
Mehdi Salem Surreal Aquatic Atmosphere
Surrounded by ambient blue lighting and vibrant aquatic life, guests encounter a truly surreal, transportive atmosphere designed for momentous occasions.
The beautiful blue lighting from the aquarium made the entire restaurant feel incredibly surreal and romantic.
Sonia Bespoke Multi-Course Tasting Menus
Multi-course degustation menus are executed with strict precision, effortlessly adapting dishes for allergies, dietary restrictions, and ingredient substitutions.
For the allergies, they were very particular and double checked with me for my nut allergy. For one dish, they made a substitution for a non-allergic nut, just to be safe.
C Tan Adults-Only Dedicated Tunnel Seating
Tunnel seating is preserved exclusively for parties of two adults, ensuring an intimate, serene environment shielded from dining echoes.
Reservation with kids cannot be seated at the tunnels, which is fair and makes sense since the echo would be really loud with kids.
Kenneth Tong Staged Celebrations and Diver Surprises
Couples celebrate engagements, birthdays, and anniversaries with personalized touches such as diver-held underwater messages and commemorative treats.
A diver came through the aquarium holding a special message while guiding fish toward our table—it truly felt like something out of a dream.
Sonia Unforgettable Milestone Keepsakes
The venue provides milestone photo opportunities with scuba divers and swimming marine life through the glass, immortalizing once-in-a-lifetime trips.
The Tunnel table was worth every penny and we even had a photo taken with diver in the background.

Practical guidance on reservations, navigation, and dining options for an underwater visit.
Book tunnel tables well in advance
Tunnel seating accommodates only pairs of adults and sells out quickly, so reserve weeks or even months ahead if you want the overhead subaquatic view. Families with children can dine during lunch at regular window-side tables.
Allow 15 minutes to navigate the resort
Navigating from the main resort lobby to the subaquatic entrance can take 10 to 15 minutes across multi-level resort grounds. Tables have strict holding windows, so budget extra transit time.
Inform the team of dietary needs early
The kitchen easily customizes multi-course menus for pregnancies, nut allergies, and shellfish restrictions. Flag any specific dietary concerns when booking so dishes can be substituted smoothly.
