Tucked inside a quiet Dewi Sri food court, Baba Jimb turns out blistered Bavarian Schweinshaxe alongside cold German beer. The kitchen is run by a chef who spent years cooking in Germany, turning whole pork knuckles until the crackling shatters over tender meat. Regulars order the pork knuckle to split among tables, then double down with platters of house-made bratwurst and wok-tossed nasi goreng loaded with smoked pork. Cold Weizenbier rounds out the table.
